Hello everyone! My name is Susruhiyatun Hayati from Indonesia. Currently, I am studying at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) for a Master’s Degree. I am very grateful because I am under a scholarship namely Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). I chose Malaysia to continue my study because it has a good and high reputation in the global ranking of higher education. Secondly, studying in Malaysia gave me the opportunity to be a part of a rich and diverse cultural experience.
My university also provides a platform that makes it very easy for students to find information, interact with lecturers, campus staff, and fellow students. From my friends, I learned about the unique cultures and history in Malaysia which made me really love this country. I also like traveling while studying. In this country, there are many beautiful places that you can explore and for those of you who like to travel, Malaysia is the right choice for traveling while studying. It felt safe to travel around Malaysia.
Studying in Malaysia also gave me the opportunity to be friends with international friends from all over the world. I also got the opportunity to attend an event with EMGS and met with friends from various countries. I want to thank all the EMGS team for being very friendly to me as a student and also for their fast response.
One of the things that must be considered when choosing a country to continue studying is food because we live and need to eat. Talking about food, in Malaysia, there are various types of tasty and unique food. Before I came to this country, I was worried about food, but after I arrived here, that feeling of worry turned to love because the food in Malaysia is plentiful and varied, unique and delicious and the price is also affordable. I also get to live in an affordable apartment with full facilities, there is a swimming pool, a garden, a gym, and there is also a place to play badminton. There is public transportation such as campus buses, city buses that are friendly to foreigners so it’s easy to go anywhere. I really loved this country; I am proud to continue my study here. I highly recommend Malaysia as the right choice to continue your study, guys!
