SEGi University is the flagship campus of SEGi University and Colleges, a leading private higher education institution in Malaysia. The campus sits on a 10-acre site in Kota Damansara that is neighbouring the Kota Damansara MRT Station.
In November 2021, SEGi University has been rated as a QS 5 Stars Plus institution in the latest QS Stars University Ratings, making it one of only 19 universities in the world that currently holds this prestige.
SEGi University scored 5 Stars in the evaluations of Teaching, Internationalisation, Inclusiveness, Online Learning, Arts & Culture, Employability, Academic Development, and Specialist Criteria: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
The university offers a wide range of affordable quality global education, from foundation to master’s degree programmes in the field of Accounting, Finance and Business Management, Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Psychology, Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Early Childhood Education.
SEGi University is well-equipped with facilities that complement its dedicated teaching force. Among them are the SEGi Oral Health Centre and the Rotary-SEGi EyeCare centre. As both facilities are open to the public, students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in these facilities under the guidance of our academicians and lecturers.
Other facilities on the campus include an academic library, research and recreational facilities and student hostels, accommodating up to approximately 12,000 students.
Additionally, there is an extension building – SEGi Tower which is just a 5-minute walk away from the main campus. It accommodates up to 6,000 students of the Faculty of Business, Accounting and Management, Faculty of Technology and Innovation, Faculty of Communication and Creative Design, and the School of Hospitality and Tourism. A 25-floor condominium, the SEGi Residence, that serves as a student hostel is just next to the SEGi Tower.
SEGi University is home to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Health Sciences, Technology & Innovation, Business & Accounting, Creative Arts & Design, Early Childhood Care & Education, Hospitality & Tourism, and Artificial Intelligence. It is also an International Students Hub of Excellence.
The university takes good care of its students’ wellbeing through its Students Affairs department that provides a wide range of services, including the Mentor-Mentee system – SEGi CONNECT and SEGi Enrichment Programme, Global Industry Placement and SEGi Employment Readiness Programme.
The department also has an Academic Skills Unit and works closely with SEGi Valued Corporate Partners on matters such as employment for our graduates.
