Operating since 1993, Melaka International School was the brainchild of Allahyarham the late, Dr Mohamed Ishak Syed Ahmed and his wife Mrs Shamsunnisa Ishak. Established with the support of the State Economic Development Corporation and The Melaka Foundation, Melaka International School was modelled on the British school system with a vision to create successful individuals who proudly hail from an educational institution in the historic state of Melaka.

Taking a global perspective through 21st century learning, Melaka International School believes that every student is a unique individual deemed for success. MIS accepts students from the ages of 4 to 18 (Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary & A-Level).
